Gibberellic acid-Biotin, also known as gibberellic acid biotin conjugate, is a functional research tool molecule that connects the plant hormone gibberellic acid (GA3) with biotin through covalent bonds. As an affinity fishing probe, it is used for targeted capture and identification of gibberellin receptor proteins in plants. By utilizing the highly specific interaction between biotin and streptavidin, unknown functional proteins that specifically bind to gibberellin are efficiently enriched from plant total protein lysate, and novel regulatory elements of the gibberellin signaling pathway are analyzed. As a standard antigen in immune testing, the development of a high-sensitivity ELISA kit for residual gibberellin replaces traditional gibberellin BSA protein conjugates, significantly reducing non-specific background signals.
